The Paulsen family comes to visit.

Before we moved to Florida we had lived in the same house for a little over 7 years. We loved our neighborhood, and we miss our friends a lot. Ashlee Paulsen and Elisabeth have known each other since they were just a year old. Luckily Ashlee's mom Sheri works for an airline and so Ashlee has been able to come out and visit us a few times here in Florida...like she did for spring break! She arrived late Monday(April 6th) night with her Dad and her older brother and sister (Micheal and Courtney).

So, Tuesday, we all headed off to the beach. It wasn't exactly a warm day so we decided a shelling beach would be best. Jon got off work a little early, and we headed for Captiva.

Because of the cool air we all started out with sweaters or jackets.

There was a lot of wind and the waves were beautiful! They washed up tons of shells. We had a blast picking out our favorites.
Soon we realized that while the air was cool the water was nice and warm.=)
Ashlee and Elisabeth got right in.
Adam spent the rest of the hour in the water as well. He loved being tossed around by the big waves.

Sarah Got in too, but later discovered that once you got out...it was FREEZING! So she bundled up and ate her picnic dinner.
After an hour everyone was done! Most of them ate the food in the car on the way home. On the way we had to get a shot of the lighthouse on Sanibel.

...and this Beautiful Property!
The next morning, Ashlee's dad and siblings went back to Utah, but Ashlee got to stay 'til Friday. I'll post more of the kids fun and adventure next time =)
