This made things easy for me!! All I had to do besides invite people and clean the house....was plan snacks and desert. Adam made that easy too. He isn't a big cake fan so he just wanted donuts! EASY!
The only girls he invited were those whose brothers were also coming...and they mostly just played with Elisabeth and Sarah.
All the kids also spent some time out on the trampoline and on the swings. Everyone stayed for hours and had a good time. Adam was happy.

Adam is really into making claymation and toymation movies right now. So for his birthday he wanted some things he could use in his projects so we got him some clay and these...

He got 3 of them. They have lot's of joints making them very poseable. You can put them in all sorts of great positions and they hold it. One of these days I'll post one of his little movies...but most of them are kind of violent. I told them he had to make a rated G one for me to post on my blog. Until then here's a still shot.
One of my favorite moments was when he opened this present from his Grandma and Grandpa Best back in Utah. You see he's thinking "Why the heck did they send me a stuffed Super Monkey?!"

After a little investigation we discovered that it was really quite awesome. It has a huge rubber band inside and you can shoot it 50 feet up in the air. They had a lot of fun with it out in the back yard....and luckily it didn't get stuck up on the roof! =)
They also sent him a book that he's really been looking forward to. He loves the 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' series. He finished reading it just a few days later.

Never wanting to do things in the conventional way...Adam decided to try blowing out his candles without using his mouth!

It was not highly successful and he eventually decided to do it the old fashioned way.

Happy Birthday Adam!
