While we were in Utah there was one more big event. Sarah who had just turned 8 was now old enough to be Baptized. She waited to do this in Utah so her family could be with her, and her Grandpa could do the honors.
A few days before, we took some pictures of her in her beautiful dress. We used one for the cover of the program. I was a beautiful day for pictures!
Uncle Matt spoke about Baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost. The kids sang a beautiful song from the Primary Children's Song Book 'When Jesus Christ was Baptized'. And Sarah sang the 2nd verse by herself. It was so sweet and beautiful.
After the baptism we had plenty of yummy good to share with family and friends who came out for the occasion. It was a wonderful time to be together. We appreciate all who came and those who helped pull this event together.

These are some of our good friends from college. I was so happy to see them! And we got to spend some more time with them the following day, as they were having their beautiful baby blessed.
Sarah's Confirmation was done that same day. Also by Grandpa Best. It was a beautiful and special day. I hope Sarah will always remember it. We had to get a few more shots before all was said and done.=)
