Nicholas turned 3 in Dec. He loves Thomas the train and Eskimo kisses which he calls "bugga buggins". He has no interest whatsoever in being potty trained...however he does like wearing underwear rather than a diaper...this has made for a lot of extra laundry and carpet cleaning the last few weeks. His favorite trick on the trampoline involves him throwing himself down with his arms and legs contorted creatively and making sound affects as if it took great effort. We all clap and he's very proud of himself afterward.

Sarah is 5 and she's reading better every day. She is quite the little mommy to Nic while I am doing school with the older kids . She wants her hair to be long like Elisabeths, but she hates having me brush it. Now she is a pro at brushing it herself...if we're not in a hurry. Her favorite toys are babies and ponies...really that's all she needs. Her favorite books to read are the Farm Yard Tales from Usborne books. She reads the easier sentences at the top of the page and I read the longer and harder sentences on the Bottom.

Elisabeth, is 10 now, and she's really growing up. She's nearly finished with Harry Potter 3. She wants to finish the series before the 6th movie comes out. While she was surrounded by girls back in Utah (cousins and neighbors), she is now the one looking for a friend. In our homeschool group she plays with the little girls sometimes and with a few boys that are her friends. But there just aren't any girls her age in the group. Luckily there are a few girls in Choir, and Church and our friends that she can see once in a while. She just learned to do a back-hip-circle on the bar in gymnastics.
And, she has another Choir performance coming up next week.

Adam is 8 and he is changing so much. He really is acting more and more like a big kid. He has become a much better swimmer, reader, cleaner, and much more. He is learning to skateboard from some friends in the H.S. group. Unfortunately we left his skateboard at the park on New Years Eve, and when we went back for it the next day...it was gone. He just read the first book in the Spiderwick series and I think we'll continue with those. He also likes the Adam Sharp series, and Junie B.
