What cute girls! And a few handsome boys too.
Yes, she had another pool party! Hooray for easy planning! This year she wanted the theme to be the new Disney movie about Rapunzel.....'Tangled'. Luckily we found all of the desired party supplies right at Wal-Mart. Easy Breezy!
We sent out E-vites (my favorite!) And we were set.
Sarah never wants the usual cake for dessert. So this year she wanted brownies with whipped cream and strawberries on top. And she talked me into letting her have ice cream sandwiches (the kind with 3 colors inside). That was my kids dairy intake for the month. Unfortunately, even with a cooler of ice, they were quite melty. But Sarah didn't mind. =)
The slide at the pool happened to be out of order. But she didn't seem to mind that either. She was just so happy to be with all her friends and swim and play and giggle.
Twin swim suits! How fun!
She's definitely a hugger. :)
If you couldn't tell....that last picture was a bunk bed for her 'American Girl' dolls. And her big sister MADE IT! It was a total surprise for Sarah. Libby worked on it for a long time and had to keep it hidden. It's made of cardboard boxes which she hot glued together..then sealed with primer, and painted and upholstered. She is so crafty. Sarah (and her friends) LOVED it!.
And look! A doll to go in the bed!=) Sarah doesn't have any actual 'American Girl' dolls. She has Journey Girls, and My Generation...But she still calls them American Girl dolls.
So our little Sarah is a big 8 year old. She's learning and growing so much and we're very proud of her.
