Even when grandma Vickie was doing her exercises! As she walked up and down the stairs and around the house; she had a train of children following her.
As much as they love the kids, I'm sure they were a little relieved when we had activities and rehearsals to go to so they could have a little down time. Nicholas enjoyed some alone time with them a few times when the big kids had something he didn't really need to attend.
They even got Grandma Vickie to jump on the Trampoline with them!
We purposely planned their trip at a time when the kids had a lot of performances! So they had non-stop grand-kid entertainment. Just a few days after they arrived they got to see the girls in 'The King and I'.
Here we are ready to go!
We were able to enjoy the dinner before the show!
We were joined by my friend (and distant relative) Courtney.
And here they are after the show. They were so happy that their Grandma's could come and see them in their show. And I think the Grandma's enjoyed seeing them up on the stage.
Next up was Elisabeth's Chorus Performance. The picture of Sarah between the Grandma's at the top of this post is from that performance. Here's one of libby on stage. I will post video of theh performance another time.
Just a few days later our Home School Ballet and Chorus had their performance. Here they got to see Elisabeth, Sarah and Adam perform. And afterwards we all went to pizza hut..mmmm!
Their trip was more than half over, and we still hadn't been to a beach! And there was more performing on the Calendar! To Be Continued.....
